Walking tour 2 hours for this option: we will walk to the Medici Chapels and the Basilica of S. Lorenzo, the church of the Medici family. The visit continues passing by Palazzo Medici Ricciardi (the first home residence of the Medici Family) towards the religious centre, where you can admire the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Brunelleschi ‘s dome, Giotto’ s bell tower and the Baptistery with its famous Gate of Paradise. The tour continues visiting the area where Dante Alighieri was born, who wrote the famous poem of the Divine Comedy. Further we proceed to the Signoria Square, the impressive political centre dominated by the imposing Palazzo vecchio, the second home residence of the Medici Family. The tour will end at the picturesque mercato della Paglia (the Straw Market) with is famous Fountain of the Cinghiale (wildboar).

Inside the Museum we will spend one hour and the rest of the tour will be dedicated to a walking tour in the city centre including the religious centre with its imposing Cathedral, continues to the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri lived, ending in the political centre with the Palazzo Vecchio and its statues.

The visit continues to the political centre “Piazza della Signoria” with its famous statues and ends at the religious centre with its famous masterpieces including the Cathedral, the Baptistery and Giotto’ s bell tower.

In this tour we will visit the famous church of Santa Croce. Here you will see the tomb of Michelangelo by Vasari and many other important tombs such as Galileo Galilei. The discovery continues in the Bargello Museum, where you will find many wonderful works by Michelangelo, such as the “Baccus”, “Tondo Pitti”, the “Brutus” and “David Apollo”.
